The Mod
The XC100 Mod is built with a focus on simplicity, power, and everyday reliability. It’s compact for 21700 device, but still delivers up to 100 watts with smooth, consistent output. The design feels modern and ergonomic, sitting comfortably in the hand without feeling bulky with is oval shape its a little strange at first but this mod is quiet tall.
Up top, the XC100 features a solid 510 plate that comfortably accommodates tanks up to 28mm in diameter without overhang. The base is flat and well-balanced, giving the mod good stability even with its taller profile, so it stands securely without feeling top-heavy.
The battery door opens easily by lifting the tab, and the threading feels smooth and well-machined.
Inside, you’ll find the included 18650 battery adapter, giving you flexibility depending on your preferred setup.
Battery orientation is clearly marked inside, making installation quick and straightforward while reducing the chance of inserting cells the wrong way.
The front side features Eleaf’s “Press-Twist” control system. Press it and it works as the fire button, twist it and it adjusts wattage or navigates the menu, keeping everything simple and intuitive. The 1.05-inch TFT screen displays all the key information clearly, even if it’s not the brightest in strong light. Just below the screen, there’s a handy lock switch to prevent any misfires

The 1.05-inch TFT screen clearly displays your puff count, battery life, and coil resistance. You can choose from some custom themes thanks to the installed Smart Chip 2.0. Overall the mod has the basic functions you need, including all the relevant safety protections to get you going out of the box. The innovative Press-Twist control system keeps operation simple, combining firing and wattage adjustment into one intuitive button. It is primarily designed for both convenience and dependable everyday use.
The Melo X Tank
The Melo X tank is designed for straightforward, reliable sub-ohm performance with a clean, modern look. It features top-fill for quick and easy refills, along with adjustable airflow that lets you fine-tune the draw to suit your preference.
The top-fill system is smooth to use, with a secure cap that opens easily and seals properly to prevent leaks.
The Melo X tank also features a drip tip with a double O-ring design, giving it a more secure fit and reducing any chance of wobble or movement during use
Meanwhile, coil installation is seamless. You simply screw the coil into the deck, and it fits nice and snug, helping to prevent leaks and ensuring a secure, reliable connection every time.
The Melo X features a standard 510 connection with a non-protruding pin, meaning it is not suitable for use on hybrid devices
Coils
The new mesh-section EC-D Dual Mesh coils are available in three options, giving you flexibility depending on your preferred vaping style. The 0.5Ω coil is best suited for lower wattage use between 15–25W, with Eleaf recommending around 23W for a smooth, flavour-focused vape.
Stepping up, the 0.3Ω coil runs between 30–45W, with a recommended setting of 40W, offering a nice balance between flavour and vapour production. For those who prefer a warmer, more powerful vape
While the 0.15Ω coil operates between 40–70W, with a recommended 50W, delivering increased vapour while still maintaining solid flavour thanks to the mesh design.
Performance
Performance from the Melo X tank is consistent and easy to dial in, making it a solid option for everyday vaping. The EC-D mesh coils heat up quickly and provide even distribution, which results in clean, steady flavour across all three resistance options.
At lower wattages, the 0.5Ω coil delivers a cooler, smoother vape with a clear focus on flavour. Moving up to the 0.3Ω coil, you get a more balanced experience with a noticeable increase in vapor while still keeping good flavour clarity.
Airflow works well with the coil range, staying smooth and adjustable without becoming turbulent. Wicking keeps up reliably under normal use, with no major issues when the coils are properly primed. Overall, it’s a dependable performer that doesn’t require much effort to get the best out of it.
