Ah yes… disposables. The fast food of vaping. Convenient, colourful, ultra-sweet — and about as nutritious for the industry as a gas-station burger is for your arteries.

Look, I get why they blew up. Pick it up, puff it, bin it. No thinking required. Perfect for folks who want nicotine without ever learning the difference between PG and PVC.
But if you’ve been paying attention the last few years, you’ll know exactly why disposables are everywhere:

China is allowed to make whatever they want — and we’re the ones stuck dealing with the consequences.

If you haven’t read up on it, here’s the short, furious Old Goat version:

  • Half the stuff pumping out of Shenzhen isn’t even legal in the country it’s made in.
    China bans public vaping, bans flavours, bans disposables… yet exports truckloads of them to everyone else.
    Illegal at home, legal everywhere else. Wrap your head around that mess.

  • Regulators don’t know how to handle them, so they throw the hammer at everything.
    Instead of fixing the real issue (mass-produced, unregulated disposables flooding the market), governments go after tanks, mods, DIY supplies, nicotine, adults, oxygen, happiness — anything except the actual problem.

  • The industry’s being choked to death by the very product the politicians claim to be “protecting the public from.”
    Funny how nobody blames the factories making millions off it.

Disposables aren’t “popular” because they’re good for the vape world.
They’re popular because they’re the cheapest thing to mass-produce, market, and dump in every corner shop on earth.

Meanwhile the rest of us — the hobbyists, mixers, rebuilders, and anyone who actually tries to vape like an adult — get punished for it.
