E-cigarettes leave woman with rare lung disease normally seen in metal workers (cannabis oil)

Liking the post for disclosing the link to the oil pods, not the actual woman suffering…

Guess I should cut back on my daily breakfast bowl of Cobalt Flakes.

He also seems to exhibit confirmation bias when it comes to the subjects of Diacetyl and THC (falls victim to the whole “us vs them” [vaping vs THC] camp). That saddens me to varying extents.

Yeah, that’s what made me go “wait. Huh?!”
Absolutely no need to add D/A/AP??
In my opinion, as long as it maintains the relative degree of lesser harm (100’s of times lower than in cigarettes), then I’m all “well dump that shit in there if it makes it taste better/more accurate”, especially if it guarantees they won’t use Butyric Acid!

I’m so tired of having to search through (and pay for, and SFT) dozens of flavors in a single profile just to find one or two that are worth a fuck (keeping) thanks to having lost so many good flavors thanks to a giant flood storm of paranoid pussies whining about shit that was never even an issue in the first place!! :rage:

I get you.
My thing is, we (I) had ONE outspoken medical representative that we could count on to stand up to all the shit misinformation out there, and now he’s “caved” to the pressures, on one of the aspects that was very important to me personally.

With FA, Cap, and so many others quietly (some completely silently) reformulating into the non-DAAP camp, I can’t say how thankful I AM for having WF come on the scene. It seems like they’re the last bastion of hope in ‘good taste’ for the likes of me.

Yes, I’ve found some good flavors without DAAP, but, when I think of how many more we’ve lost, for no good reason it just pisses me off.

If they can legally sell and promote medications and other products that have been shown IN STUDIES to cause “anal leakage, kidney failure, lung damage, heart palpitations, thyroid problems, and a mile long list of other problems” then I think I have a RIGHT to a flavor that tastes good, where I assume the risk, by my choice the same as the disclaimers are with the rest of the meds peddled on TV.

FUCK I was overdue for getting that off my chest.

Nor do I.
I’m just tired of taking it on the chin.
Sorry this ‘erupted’ during a reply to you. But it’s largely to the general subject (and not meant to be pointed to, nor directed at you)

I did too, and I’m glad the video was shared.
(I really felt for the host lol. Poor chap could barely get a question in.)

^^^^^^ Totally agree ^^^^^^^ - As he mentioned never been one case either in a smoker or a vaper.

Personally I will not drop DAAP even if it is proved somewhere down the track that there is more risk than it’s substitutes, there is not a shred of evidence that saying that DAAP caries more risk (that I have ever seen).

Why would I want to taste something worse to maybe drop my risk by a percentage point when I am already so much better off vaping than smoking?

I think I “get” our doctor. To me, he’s a diplomat. His studies are going to be better accepted if he doesn’t piss off half or better of his audience by delving into the political aspects. Frankly, that’s one issue I have with our host, having a political agenda beyond just vaping that he interjects. IMHO, he would be more effective without his political opining. Regardless, really enjoyed listening to the doctor. Good share @woftam.

And exactly what we expected. Vape shops are still too high IMHO but we can easily see where 80% of the problem is.

Amen per bureaucratic horseshit. As I read it, it will pull flavored closed pod systems off the shelf. That’s it. No impact to open systems unless there is a marketing infraction e.g. overtly appealing to children.

All I can see from this lawsuit is an attempt to get something similar to the MSA in place for vaping
