I can’t post this on thin skinned sites, but let’s do it here. I see a continuing, ever-increasing trend in blaming the unvaccinated. The Kool-Aid trough is full of drinkers. Don’t think, ask, question, research, just comply.

In a new study in the Journal of Infection , scientists explain one likely reason why so many vaccinated people are getting sick: a dangerous phenomenon called Antibody Dependent Enhancement or ADE.
Despite the fact that multiple medical authorities predicted, told us, and hoped, ADE would not impact Covid-19 vaccines, data from the study indicates it has done just that.
According to the new study, data suggests that the Covid-19 vaccines originally appeared to provide an overall benefit in fighting the virus. However, when it comes to one of the newer iterations of Covid, the Delta variant, the vaccines appear to facilitate infection displaying “a strikingly increased affinity” for the virus’ trademark spike protein.
According to scientific study, the ADE risk was well known prior to the Covid-19 vaccines being allowed on the market.
“One potential hurdle for antibody-based vaccines and therapeutics is the risk of exacerbating COVID-19 severity via antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE),” explained a study in Nature. “ADE can increase the severity of multiple viral infections, including other respiratory viruses such as respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and measles.”
Scientists say that with ADE, after people get vaccinated for an initial virus, infection by a subsequent variant or strain of the virus can result in “increased viral replication and more severe disease, leading to major safety risks.”
An article in MedPage (prior to the new study) dismissed concerns about ADE, but noted it “can also occur when neutralizing antibodies (which bind the virus and stop it from causing infection) are present at low enough levels that they don’t protect against infection. Instead, they can form immune complexes with viral particles, which in turn leads to worse illness.”
On the other hand, most scientific studies on this topic say those who have recovered from Covid-19 have natural immunity that does not display the same problem, and appears to be superior to that, so far, of that provided by the vaccines.
In Israel, health officials say that only 1% among Covid infections in the latest wave are among those previously infected with Covid. The other 99% are among unvaccinated and not previously-infected, and among fully-vaccinated.

What is ADE?
ADE occurs when the antibodies generated during an immune response recognize and bind to a pathogen, but they are unable to prevent infection. Instead, these antibodies act as a “Trojan horse,” allowing the pathogen to get into cells and exacerbate the immune response.

Although I can’t speak with any specificity on that, I found the study just done in Israel to be very compelling evidence, that “Something’s not right”. Israel is one of the most heavily vaccinated countries, yet, with all the the fully vaxed citizens, they are experiencing a very serious increase. What ever COULD the cause be I wonder.
Maybe another booster or twelve, will fix it ?

Biden Exempts Over 600,000 USPS Workers From Federal Mandatory Vaccination Order
According to the Washington Post citing a “White House official speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss not-yet-public portions of the president’s plan”, U.S. Postal Service workers were not included in Biden’s executive order requiring all federal employees to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
While Biden framed his mandate as one covering all federal workers and all companies with more than 100 staff, he forgot to mention that any labor union that is instrumental in keeping the Democrats in power would be granted a very “unscientific” exemption.

According to Zoo Atlanta, while they do not know with certainty how the gorillas acquired the virus, the Animal Care and Veterinary Teams believe the infections originated with a COVID-positive care team member.
The team member is fully vaccinated, was wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and was asymptomatic on the day of reporting to work.
The zoo does not know if the animals can transmit the virus to humans the way humans can transmit the virus to animals. Nevertheless, the enclosures are at a distance that does not pose a threat of transmission.
Zoo Atlanta is authorized to use the Zoetis vaccine, a vaccine made specifically for animals that have been used for SARS-COV-2 susceptible species in other zoological organizations in North America.
Zoo Atlanta will vaccinate its Bornean and Sumatran orangutans, Sumatran tigers, African lions, and clouded leopard. As the gorillas recover, they will also receive the vaccine.

185.Enforcement of requirement to undergo medical observation or medical or other procedure
(1)If an emergency officer gives a direction to a person under section 184(1)(c) to undergo medical observation, medical examination or medical treatment or to be vaccinated, an emergency officer or police officer may use reasonable force to ensure that the direction is complied with, including, if necessary —
(a)to apprehend and detain the person to whom the direction applies (the relevant person) and take the relevant person to a place where the person is required to undergo medical observation, medical examination or medical treatment or to be vaccinated in accordance with the direction; and
(b)to detain the relevant person at the place where he or she is required to undergo medical observation, medical examination or medical treatment or to be vaccinated in accordance with the direction; and
(c)to restrain the relevant person —
(i)to enable a medical observation, medical examination or medical treatment to be carried out; or
(ii)to enable the relevant person to be vaccinated;
and
(d)to remove anything (including underwear) that the relevant person is wearing, if —
(i)the removal of the thing is reasonably necessary to enable a medical examination or medical treatment to be carried out or, as the case requires, to enable the person to be vaccinated; and
(ii)the relevant person is given a reasonable opportunity to remove the thing himself or herself, and refuses or fails to do so.
(2)A direction under section 184(1)(c) to undergo medical examination or medical treatment or to be vaccinated authorises —
(a)in the case of a direction to undergo medical examination —
(i)the carrying out of that medical examination in accordance with the direction; and
(ii)the testing of any sample obtained or taken in connection with that medical examination;
and
(b)in the case of a direction to undergo medical treatment —
(i)the giving of medical treatment to the relevant person in accordance with the direction; and
(ii)the testing of any sample obtained or taken in connection with that medical treatment;
and
(c)in the case of a direction to be vaccinated, the vaccination of the relevant person.
(3)If any action taken under subsection (1) involves the removal of an item of clothing —
(a)it must be done with decency and sensitivity and in a manner that gives to the relevant person the degree of privacy and dignity that is consistent with ensuring compliance with the direction; and
(b)the emergency officer or police officer taking the action and any other person present while it is done (excluding any person who is carrying out any medical examination or medical treatment or vaccinating the relevant person) must, if practicable, be of the same gender as the relevant person; and
(c)the number of people present while it is done (excluding a person who is present under paragraph (d)) must be no more than is reasonably necessary to ensure that the direction is complied with effectively and to ensure the safety of all present; and
(d)if the relevant person is a child or an impaired person, it must, if practicable, be done in the presence of a responsible person or some other person who can provide the child or impaired person with support and represent his or her interests.
