This is why I don’t watch ‘the news’ (or more correctly: American news).
The majority of my news comes from NHK (Japan), the BBC (UK), or DW (Europe). Far less sensationalism, and stories the world cares about (by massive comparison).
If our journalists were still of the Dan Rather (I’m here to give you the facts) mentality, instead of the Howard Stem and Jerry Springer (we’re going to give you/manipulate “your opinion” as we see it and want it to be…) mentality, the US would be at least a fair bit better off.

As interesting as that was, the most interesting thing I took away from that was that the guy who started Post cereal company was a PATIENT at the asylum that Kellogg worked at…how bad did original corn flakes have to be for an asylum patient to be like, I can totally make something that tastes better than that lol
