I don’t think many watch live TV these days, our smart TV isn’t even connected to the Ariel so just watch netflix and iPlayer, obviously can get live BBC channels on the iPlayer app but unless it’s a sporting event that’s on at a convenient time much more likely to watch it on demand, I think Question Time is the only thing I watch live regularly! I am 52 and can honestly say I have never bought a newspaper, not one, ever!
Well, your TV may work better if you didn’t force a cable into The Little Mermaid. I dread to think which hole you opted for!
Question Time? You must be a glutton for punishment. Any Questions and Any Answers are two which regularly make me tune out of Radio 4. The last time outside of those two was when Tracy Emin was on Woman’s Hour.
I like watching so called normal people making especially Tories squirm!
Squirming is pretty much any public reaction they have. I thought I was in America when the Home Secretary complained about the police following the Rule of Law.
I have the same look when an essential apostrophe is absent.
A joke like one which got me banned on ELR. It is nice to be able to say Donald Trump: everyone’s favourite adulterous fraudster who bribed officials to cover-up fucking a porn-star (damn I love seeing all being legally confirmed as fact on a weekly basis which means there is no recourse for me saying it - yay). Hopefully they will just rip and tear all of his New York businesses to settle the fraud case he lost and then hand it over as a clear criminal case (I won’t be happy until all 400 charges are settled).
Sssssh, there are some Trump supporters on the forum you might upset who think it’s a witch hunt, all I can say is they are finding a hell of a lot of witches!
Well witches are part of my fellowship group.
Obviously I will only deal in fact when questioning the utter stupidity of others - It’s always safe to rely on fact when being entangled with those who are ‘Christian’ but cannot read the Bible (I found it hilarious when a recent poll showed that most American ‘Christians’ questioned the validity of the Sermon on the Mount - another lovely fact).
If any kick-off, I’ll happily discuss the Bible with them and provide them with the most intense Bible study they have ever encountered: 30 years of detailed critical examination which made me a Methodist Preacher (though I prefer St. Francis’ Biker myself) would put them to shame. The last Bible study I attended involved me not having a Bible with me, though I read all from memory and led them through some of the anomalies in the Gospel of John (when compared to the earliest Gospel - Mark: if we exclude the added apocalypse and the whole of 16:9-20) and possible errors in the Greek.
You guys know the rules NO politics except for vape-related politics. We have been letting it slide a little bit of late but all it does is create drama.
This is a worldwide political ban and last time I checked the UK, Canada, Australia, and the USA were part of the world.
Feel free to take it to private messages.
Cheers TIA for understanding.
Okey dokey, we were just venting regarding stupidity. I have no problems with moving discussions to DMs when they may become too tasty for those made of glass.
South Park regarding my own bad dreams (bad as they are not enjoyable, I’m too battle-hardened to view anything as a nightmare).
Although I will watch the new Exorcist on one monitor while painting models. I am aware of how it redefines ‘utter drivel’ so, I might have to update a tattoo to distract from the pain.
I tried to stop them Simon but they threatened me with violence and made fun of my religion
Oh, do we have an art and music thread? I tried to create them to differentiate some of my comments but, my recently reactivated account doesn’t seem to have the privileges. Luckily @sessiondrummer is taking me through the recipe side of things here.
Ah, reminds me of my long past child and jogger hospitaliser.
I’d only object, if the milk was skimmed: Wasting energy, nutrition and time to skim milk is a crime for me.
Anyone can identify in anyway they want: as long as they don’t raise the law.
