Chillax Go:

Puffs: Up to 5000

Capacity: 10 ml E-liquid

Nicotine Strength: 30mg/ml

Battery: 500mAh

Both of these devices look stunning and immediately caught my eye. The Chillax Neo X has a cute look with a metal body. The mouthpiece is made of a kind of rubber that feels soft to the touch. There is some branding on the front as well as the back of the device. On the front it says Chillax and the flavor you got. On the back it says “May The Puff Be With You” which is a funny reference. On the bottom you will find your USB-C charging port and two LED indicators that show you your battery level and your e-liquid level.

The Chillax Go has a bit of a different look. On the front also some Chillax branding, but with this one you can take the cartridge out, which makes the device a bit more sustainable, cause you don’t have to throw away a fully functioning battery, once the cartridge is out of juice. The cartridge of this device also has that soft rubbery feeling to it, and the housing of the battery is hard plastic.

I got 6 flavors to try both of these devices, so that’s really generous of Chillax and I had a lot to try and taste. Below I will tell you a little bit about every flavor I tried and how I liked all of them.

Greek Freak - 9/10

I’m always a bit put off by flavor names when I don’t know what they mean, but this vape was surprisingly a favorite of mine. It’s one of the best flavors I’ve tried in a while. It’s a very sweet strawberry candy-like flavor. I didn’t notice any ice in the flavor, just a lot of sweetness, exactly how I personally like it.

Menthol - 7/10

Honestly no questions about this flavor, it tastes exactly as the name states. Like a strong menthol gum, or maybe even a little more like a good brand of toothpaste. Not one I’d like to vape while eating, cause it can mess up your taste buds for that a little bit, but definitely one for the menthol lovers or a late night vape session.

Old Tobacco - 6/10

I’m not really a tobacco flavor lover myself. When I quit smoking I tried them, because they felt safe, but with vape flavors, they just never really got there. Sure, I haven’t tried all the tobacco in the world, but to me this one didn’t taste like how I’ve known tobacco and I think that’s a good thing. There may be a hint of a tobacco flavor in there, but it’s hinted with a little bit of sweetness.

Grape Bubble Gum - 8/10

The fact that I liked this flavor surprised me. If you’ve read my last review, you know I’m not a fan of grape flavors, but this one was so good. There is a hint of that familiar grape flavor in there, but it also strangely tastes like blueberry a little bit. I don’t know if it’s because of the bubblegum in the name, but the sweetness really got me hooked on this one.

Frigid Spore - 7/10

Another one that from the name, I couldn’t tell you what the flavor was, but when vaping it I soon realized it was watermelon. And a very good watermelon at that. A very comfortable and soft watermelon. Not overly sweet, maybe for me it could’ve been a bit sweeter, but I’m a sweet tooth, so that’s a high standard to put it against.

Strawberry Banana - 6.5/10

I really didn’t know what to think of this one. At first I was excited when I read the flavor name, but it was honestly a bit too much banana for me. Maybe it’s just my taste buds, but I couldn’t taste any strawberry in this flavor and just kept getting hit with an overly banana flavor, when that’s just not really a vape (or fruit) flavor that I like. Unfortunately this was a little bit of a miss for me, but if you like banana vape flavors, this one could very well be for you.

The mouth pieces on these devices are really comfortable to use. They have a soft finish to them, but not so soft that it’s bendy, it just feels nice against your lips when taking a hit. Honestly with all of these devices the performance has been great so far, but I am not sure if I am gonna get 10000 puffs out of the Neo X. I think it’s a little bit less, but maybe I just take longer drags than the average person. The good flavor in them makes up for it. After a day of using a Neo X device the e-liquid level is at the blue light, instead of the white one, so that would mean that it has less than 59% juice left in it. That surprised me a bit and it felt fast, but maybe those later percentages will go slower than the rest, because all of the vapes I’ve tried from Chillax still work and have great flavor after a few days of using them. The battery indicator for the Go just stays white while it’s charged and when you take a drag and the light starts to flicker, you know that it’s time to charge it again. For the cartridges you’ll know they are done when the flavor isn’t good anymore, there is no other way to see or know, but that’s the case with a lot of disposables, so that doesn’t really bother me personally.

  • Good design
  • Comfortable mouthpiece
  • Lots of very good flavors to choose from
  • Different nicotine mg to choose from
  • Chillax Go doesn’t have a disposable battery
  • Chillax Neo X gives you a free lanyard
  • Chillax Neo X has a LED indicator to show you battery and e-liquid percentage

  • Chillax Neo X has a disposable battery
  • Amount of puffs might be a bit overrated

In conclusion, Chillax’s products offer not just a stylish design and comfortable usage but also a diverse range of flavors to suit different tastes. The sustainability feature of Chillax Go is a noteworthy aspect for eco-conscious vapers. While the disposable nature of Neo X’s battery might raise some environmental concerns, the unique flavors and additional features make Chillax an enticing option for those looking for a well-rounded vaping experience. The verdict definitely leans positive, acknowledging the brand’s efforts in providing a satisfying and enjoyable vaping journey. Honestly I would definitely recommend both of these devices to any who still smokes cigarettes, to find a better alternative.

Another big thanks to Chillax for sending me these devices to review, don’t forget to check out their website!

Thanks for taking the time to review them.

Obviously, on this site, many have very strong opinions when it comes to disposables: I think ‘the cause of all our woes’ would be rather fitting as most advocate for more relaxed vape laws as a healthier alternative to smoking, whereas the misuse and illegal sale of disposables only hurts us - The blending community.

Thanks for your reply. I understand both sides as well. Still, disposables help people quit smoking and as long as it does that, there is harm reduction and I think there should be a place for them

I can agree to that but most disposable devices use rechargeable batteries which could easily be modified to be pod systems. That would massively reduce waste. It is the same reason why British blenders buy 72mg/ml nicotine by the litre in order cut cost and save waste.

Personally, if retailers cannot be trusted, and Trading Standards cannot to act, pricing children out of the market is the best move - Currently in the UK, a pack a day would be over £100 a week, so highly taxing devices is not a stretch for an adult smoker and makes it harder for kids.

Firstly, kudos on the comprehensive review of disposable devices. It’s evident you put thought into your assessments. However, I can’t help but chime in with a perspective that aligns with many on this platform.

While your insights are valued, it’s crucial to recognize the broader sentiment here – disposables stir up strong opinions, and for good reason. Many advocate for vaping as a healthier alternative to smoking, emphasizing the importance of more lenient vape laws. The concern lies in the misuse and illegal sale of disposables, which not only tarnishes our community’s reputation but also poses environmental and health hazards.

Disposables, with their significant nicotine content and marketing strategies, often raise eyebrows. They’re seen as contributing to environmental issues, being marketed to a younger audience, and challenging recycling efforts. The call for regulation and awareness around these concerns is part of a larger conversation we’re passionate about.

Your review sheds light on the product’s performance, but it’s essential to consider the broader impact of disposables on both our community and the environment. Let’s continue this dialogue with respect for diverse opinions and a shared goal of fostering a responsible and sustainable vaping culture.
