Best Apple and Bourbon for Tennessee Apple?

After receiving my favourite Apple JD as a thank you for making e-liquid for somebody i would really like to make an e-liquid which mimics it.

I did do an Apple and Bourbon e-liquid but it also included Tobacco and Cream plus the Apple didn’t have that crisp sharpness that you get with Apple Jack!

Any ideas peeps on the best Apple/Apples to use and best Bourbon plus %'s?

I’d start with

Red Apple 1.2%
Bourbon .6%
Oak Barrel .4%
Cream 1%

I might even add in some Rich Cinnamon - 1 drop per 30ml

I would love to add in some blood orange, only as a kicker… maybe at .6% too… to make the bourbon shine

Up to you on sweeteners and if you want it chilled… but I would start there…

If you need more apples… I would think sour or green might boost up the red, keep either or both at or around .6% to not deliminsh the red apple.

Is there anything that will give it that warming effect on the exhale?

You can try some heat… use it like Rich Cinnamon

Another thought i have for this is it possible to use WS-23 and Heat together to get both the on the Rocks and warming on the exhale or is using both just going to rule each other out?

It could be… you will have to play with it and find out… :tada:
I am super sensitive to heat… so you might want to like I said… start low, 1/2 drops per 30ml and increase, if you add any cooling agent, you will have to find your own balance…

Post up what you find out

Obviously ignore i used some TFA Kentucky bourbon as this is a copy of the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple Whisky!

After just over 3 weeks steeping this has turned out better than expectations. The using both heat and coolant to give both the on the rocks and that warming effect didn’t work but helped make this very authentic!

The heat really gives this a lot of warmth on the throat while using the coolant cancels that out to bring the temperature down but not cool! So what’s the point? The coolant wears off on the back end so towards the end of the exhale i get a real warming which leaves that warmth on the back of my throat and even chest after the vape just like with the real thing!

The Apple strength in this is just right as is the bourbon, the only improvement i need to do is mess around with the types of Apple as although the strength is spot on it needs to have a bit more sharpness!
