Design
The Aspire Zelos M80 features a slim and ergonomic body that feels comfortable in the hand, thanks to its curved edges and smooth matte finish. Constructed from lightweight yet durable materials, it offers a premium feel without being overly heavy.
The reinforced edges exude industrial toughness, while the 0.96-inch TFT screen is seamlessly embedded into the metallic frame.The front houses a large, responsive fire button positioned for natural thumb or finger firing. Below the screen are two smaller adjustment buttons for simple menu navigation.I’m pleased to see the USB Type-C charging port conveniently positoned front panel.
On the base of the Zelos M80, you’ll find a grippy rubber pad that not only adds stability when standing the device upright but also helps protect surfaces from scratches. Battery venting holes are neatly integrated for safety.A particularly handy addition is the physical on/off power switch, allowing you to quickly cut power to the device without relying solely on the fire button lock.
The mod’s clean aesthetic is complemented buy a LED Light bar intergrated into the sides of the device that illuminate with six selectable light effects when activated. Up top, a standard 510 connection ensures a flush fit with the included tank, while the overall design allows the kit to sit nicely in the pocket.
The Zelos M80 is powered by an internal 2600 mAh battery and offers five versatile output modes—WATT, VOLTAGE, BYPASS, TC, and CPS—catering to different vaping preferences. It’s driven by Aspire’s reliable ASP chipset, which brings a full suite of safety protections, including overcharge, over-discharge, short-circuit, and overheating safeguards, ensuring both safe operation and consistent performance.
Nautilus 3SR Tank
The Nautilus 3SR Tank is Aspire’s latest refined option for MTL and RDL enthusiasts, delivering a premium feel with practical upgrades. It offers a 2 ml (TPD) or 4 ml capacity and features a smooth, clean sliding top-fill system for quick and mess-free refills. The bottom-mounted, rotating airflow control ring allows precise adjustment, letting you fine-tune the draw to your exact preference while maintaining the reliable performance the Nautilus line is known for.
Aspire includes two drip tips with the kit—one tailored for MTL and the other for RDL vaping—allowing you to switch styles with ease. Both drip tips are secured firmly in place with double O-rings, ensuring a snug fit during use. On the base of the Nautilus 3SR, you’ll find an integrated 510 pin that offers a solid, consistent connection to your mod, complemented by smooth, high-quality threading for hassle-free attachment and removal.
The Nautilus 3SR tank can be fully disassembled, making it easy to deep-clean each component and maintain optimal performance over time. This also allows for effortless replacement of individual parts/ O-rings, glass etc.
Coils
Aspire includes two versatile coils with the Zelos M80 kit: a preinstalled Nautilus 2S Mesh 0.3Ω coil for a warm, flavourful RDL experience, and the classic Nautilus BVC 1.8Ω coil for a tighter, more traditional MTL vape. This gives users two distinctly different styles right out of the box, catering to a range of preferences.
The Nautilus 3SR Tank boasts an extensive coil compatibility range, making it one of the most versatile tanks in Aspire’s line-up. It supports the full range of nautilus coils detailed in the picture below.
Coil installation is straightforward and hassle-free — simply insert the coil into the base of the tank, then thread the top section back on. The precise threading and solid build quality make the process smooth, while the push-fit design of compatible coils means there’s no fiddling or risk of cross-threading. This ease of use is perfect for quick coil swaps.
The airflow adjustment ring operates with a buttery-smooth motion, giving a satisfying level of resistance that feels precise and deliberate. It ranges from a tiny pinhole—ideal for tight MTL draws—all the way up to a decent-sized opening for a looser RDL inhale. This flexibility allows for finely tuned airflow control, letting you dial in your preferred draw style with precision and consistency.
Performance
Performance-wise, the Aspire Zelos M80 with the Nautilus 3SR tank delivers exactly what you’d expect from this iconic coil family—rich, clean flavour and smooth vapour production.
The preinstalled 0.3 Ω Nautilus 2S mesh coil excels at RDL vaping, producing warm, flavourful clouds with quick ramp-up and a satisfying throat hit. The 1.8Ω BVC coil, on the other hand, offers a cooler, tighter MTL draw that’s perfect for nic salt users.
Airflow remains consistent with no turbulence or whistling, and the sliding top-fill mechanism ensures easy, mess-free refills on the go. Coil longevity is impressive, especially with lighter e-liquids, making this setup a dependable daily driver for both MTL and RDL styles. No leaking or gurgling experienced during testing.
