Huracan Tank

The included all-new Huracan tank is a top air-flow sub-ohm tank made from stainless steel with a whopping 6ml e-liquid capacity. Measuring 26 mm with the bubble glass fitted. There is chunky knurling on the top cap which provides excellent grip.

The Top cap on the Huracan is removed easily by a quarter turn and reveals large kidney shaped fill holes. A free moving adjustable air flow ring with just enough tension to hold it in place to where you set your air flow preference. A comfortable 810 drip tip is held snugly in place with an internal o-ring.

Top air flow means no leaks, and the way the air intakes into the tank is like it has an inbuilt vapor chamber to get the air to the coil. Aspire have included a TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) cap, which helps to protect the tank glass from damage. I found it difficult to check my liquid level in the tank with this installed when testing.

The Huraacan is not compatible with all the coils in the BP mesh range, check out the list below of suitable coils.

Revolto Mod

The Revolto is a dual 18650 battery device crafted from durable aluminium alloy, it boasts sleek contours for a sophisticated appearance. Its replaceable double-sided panels not only enhance its look but also allow for customization and personalization.

On the front you have a nice clicky fire button, A bright clear 0.96” TFT screen which displays

  • Battery level in progress bar and percentage
  • Lock / Unlock symbol
  • Power mode
  • Wattage
  • Volts
  • Amps
  • Ohms
  • Puff counter

Above the screen, you have a Mode +and - buttons. There is also USB Type C port provided for a 2A charge – but it is not recommended to continuously charge your battery in the device, just pick up an external charger. A handy power switch is placed conveniently on the front of the device.

Up top, you have a solid 510 plate and this device will accommodate a tank up to 26 mm with no overhang. The removable side panels held on with good magnets with no movement when held in the hand. Batteries are inserted from the side and there are clear battery orientation instructions and a branded battery tab to help with removal when changing is required. The panels have a large raised X design which help with griping the device in the hand.

With the Aspire ASP chipset inside, the Revolto features plenty of modes, including Variable Wattage, Variable Voltage, Bypass, CPS, and TC modes. The power output is specified as 5-220 Watts and Output Voltage Range of 0.50-9Volts.

The Revolto has added safety of Aspires ASP Chipset for built-in protection against any abnormal battery related malfunctions.

Functions

The modes are easy to navigate, simply press the fire and + button together for a few seconds and this will bring you into the menu. Simply navigate through the menu and select from the 5 different operating modes, and hold the fire button to select your preferred mode.

To lock the power adjustment, you hold the + & - buttons.
To lock / unlock the device, hit the fire 3 times
To adjust the screen brightness, hold the fire and - button

Performance

So how does this kit perform, well starting off with the pre-installed 0.3 Ohm coil, this battery friendly BP coil performs very well. It produces great flavor and produces luke warm vapour because the maximum power for this coil is 40 Watts. You really need to crank down the massive dual air flow slots as this tank produces a lot of airflow wide open. The coil’s longevity is good, as we have come to expect from Aspires BP range.

Next up the slightly more powerful 0.17 Ohm coil which can run up to 55 Watts. This coil produces more of the warmth to the vapour production and gives a slightly better vape. The Flavour is excellent, but I would have like Aspire to include the compatible 100 Watt BP Pro meshed coil with this kit to unleash the power of the Revolto and Huracan combination. I am very keen to try this coil first chance I get!.

Final Thoughts

The kit performed well during testing. No issues or cons to report with Revolto mod. One thing to mention is that this kit has some heft to it and even tho it’s not the most ergonomic mod design it is comfortable to use. The device large clicky fire button and a clear and intuitive display makes it a joy to use. The Huracan performs well with BP coils provided, and I experienced no leaking during testing. This kit will appeal to the people that enjoy sub-ohm vaping and will provide an enjoyable experience indeed.

I would like to thank Aspire for sending the Revolto Kit over for review, and I hope you enjoyed reading my thoughts on this one.
