Argus Air alternative

Well fickle fellow that I am… I have plumped for the Argus Air G… The Gene chip and its tactile feel have swung it. The refill pods are much easier to operate than the fixed coil ones. Nevertheless I have added a tiny pen knife to my key ring, for those away from home fills. The 7ohm coil can be boosted up to 18 watts… and thats acceptable to me. I’ve just cut my plain juice from 11mg to 6mg and its working fine. The ITO coils are more expensive and it is a damn shame that there is no PNP compatibility. However these are still excellent coils and I will swallow the difference. Having now got the blank pods, I will certainly explore the 5ohm coils. I suspect, that is where I will feel most at home, given the adjustability of wattage that the Gene chip provides. Early days and the transition has been less difficult than I anticipated. It is a superb piece of kit, built beautifully and executed with a delightful tactile feel. That is something the Vaporesso couldnt come close to… (It the Vap, now sits in my car, fully charged and fully loaded for emergency use.)
Will come back when I purchase some 5ohm coils… in the meantime… Go well vapers…enjoy !

As I had guessed the 5ohm coils at 23 watts are spot on for hit and flavour. Its taken a while to get there but very happy with this new set up. My only criticism is that the ITO coils appear very expensive by comparison to PNP. Hopefully this is a temporary situation.
