Anyone actually quit smoking thanks to vaping or pouches?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been a smoker for years, and lately I’ve been seriously considering switching to vaping or nicotine pouches to cut down or quit entirely.

I’ve read mixed opinions online, but I figured it’s better to ask real people who’ve gone through it.

Has vaping actually helped you quit smoking? Or was it just a temporary thing?

Any tips or personal stories would be really appreciated – I’m open to anything that might work.

Thanks in advance!

I was a heavy smoker for most of my life. I tried my first vape a few years ago and never looked back.
Vaping changed everything for me. It is no longer just a habit or addiction, it is a way of life. Looking back now, I can’t even imagine how I managed to breath in the gunk you get from a ciggy.
Make the switch, but know this, you will struggle at first. The endless coughing when you just start off is what turns most smoker away. You need to learn to inhale the vape differently to a ciggy. It takes a little while.

Beware of pouches. I tried a couple and got mouth irritation and soreness. Plus, what do you do when one’s in your mouth and go to eat? You can’t stick it behind your ear like a piece of gum.

Stick with vaping, it’s the same hand to mouth action like a smoke.

Last but not least, this is a vapingcommunity. Hawk pouches on a nicotine pouch forum.

I did. Been vaping for eight years and quit a pack a day habit. At this point I vape 1.5 mg nic

I’m still enjoying occasional cig (e.g. after meal) but in fact while I vape I don’t need one (tobacco)
