Tested on my QP M25 RTA, loaded with a pair of 4 core SS316 Claptons, at .23ohms. Wicked with Cotton Bacon Prime. I tried a variety of temps(in TC), settling(see photo) in the ballpark of my usual range. Also found the sweet spot to be mid to upper 70’s in wattage mode. Allowing lot’s of air from the sides, but with the bottom AFC open only a quarter of the way. Mounted on my SX Mini G Class V2, the following are my thoughts about what I tasted.
Keeping in mind that SD specifically designed this recipe for one of his clients, it is a touch heavy with filling, BUT, he artfully(IMO) took the edge off of it, by adding some Biscuit-INW along with FA’s Apple Pie. So, even though at the very top, being met with loads of rich Apple filling, complimented by his use of Country Apple-PUR, it really didn’t have the same effect on me as…
Anyway, the layering is quite something with this mix, with the Lemon, Brown Sugar, and Cinnamon Sugar all playing their part to complete this Pie. Of course, what would a slice of Apple Pie be, without a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream, which comes alive midway through, and rides along all the way to the finish, resting on top of all that Crumble Topping?! I’m glad that you shared it with us @SessionDrummer and really glad I mixed it up! Thanks
