With InterTabac 2026 approaching, we’ve been reviewing several regulatory developments in Germany that could affect product planning.
The three biggest areas we’re watching are:
• Additives: proposed changes involving menthol, sucralose and certain cooling agents
• Tax: €0.32/ml on vaporisable liquids since January 2026
• EU policy: TED moving through the legislative process while TPD has completed its latest evaluation
