I keep all my flavours at a static 10c in wine fridges here are 2 of the 3
A small wine fridge can be had fairly cheaply and the drawers are easy to make if you can cut, drill and rivet aluminium.

You sure you have enough juice/flavours there Simon?
Not sure lmao
I need another fridge TBH they are all pretty full.
But the drawers work really well and does condense the number of flavours you can fit in a small area.
Can’t let the gf see these pics! She’ll get all kinds of completely wrong ideas about the future of my vaping supplies!
How does the Medicine Flower Cinnamon compare to FLV Rich Cinnamon?
@SessionDrummer
Wow, you found one I DIDN’T have.
I seem to have a knack for that
Thanks for sharing that mate, it makes total sense really. I keep all of my concentrates in a refrigerator anyway and if they were natural extracts like Medicine Flower I would only remove them when mixing a recipe and replace them immediately after.
Ive got the 2 you had mentioned, but the Muaket Milligram Scale is my go to for smallish mixes. spot on every time. Ill do flavors, then PG, then nic on that and can cross over to the EGO (Yours is labeled Oria) or the Amir (Yours is labeled Criacr) to finish with the VG. then Ill warm and spin up with the GC.
Havent yet grabbed a 501. Goofy ass looking scale that one is. again-my opinion…
What I have now are fine for mixes up to 200g but I’ll need to get something with a bigger capacity at some point. 500g at least. I like to mix up a big batch of a flavour I like when I’m vaping it a lot so will need a bigger scale for that. I’m currently using a measuring jug for the vg (super accurate I know )
I’ve not even done any mixing for a week or so. I’m trying to hold out for my homogenizer being delivered, then I’ll be mixing like a madman!
How long do you generally need to use the homogenizer on a mix for? I’ve not used one before. I imagine it will be a longer time for larger batches but beyond that I’m clueless.
I dont do many large batches anymore. I have too many bottles of stuff waiting to be vaped. TBH the last 120 I mixed up is The Rumble Crumble (Session Drummer’s masterpiece) and I got off on a HUGE Lemon Meringue Pie/Lemon Tart tangent. Peanut Butter Hug i sstaring me in the face, nPineapple Cheesecake INW, a great version of MonkeyMilk (LukeLoop+ a twist) , a 60 of Oh Fudge(FlavorChaser) That Ultimate Devon Strawberry I came up with last week, a 50 of Creamy Berry Cheesecake, Ive got a 25ml of Calvacade Custard to try, and this Raspberry Sodaburst I spun up yesterday-right next to the Calvacade. Blu-Gurt, Mango Escuchardo, both in 30 ml Brown Boston Rounds. and another easily 60+ bottles waiting on 3 sets of 3 tiered nail polish racks. I got nowhere to put all this stuff anymore. Hell my flavoring bookcase is nearly too packed to add flavors to.
Ok. Rant over.
20-45 seconds on the GC. spinning up 15-100ml. more or less. ya watch the blend till it gets creamy opaque n uniform in consistency. Yup a bit more for the bigger batches. but yo uwill likely find yourself seeing something you want to try out and just spin some up to try later that day or a few days later to vape the finished product. Dont make the mistake Ive made over and over again. I forget to mark something I mixed and a few days later I return to it and its amazing, and I cant remember which 'puter I did that recipe on or which calculator… Feck I hate getting old!
Ok. rant now seriously over.
Hmm, lemon tart, that sounds like something I could get into.
I have a drawer next to me full of mixes I’ve done since I started DIYing, most not even tried yet, but all dated and in my recipe list on the VCC
I only have the PC I’m sat typing this on and I only use the VCC now since importing my recipes from elr, which are mostly crap anyway but still…
Can not wait for my homogenizer to arrive. SO many mixes I’ve saw the steep time and just cba to make it because of that. Those days will soon be over!
Trick I found. in ELR I can hit “adapt this” and it saves the recipe I want to try when I get around to it, with the 250mg/ml 100%VG at 30/70 with the link from the creator 's recipe[e in the notes.
That is faster than using the "Copy to simple text feature in ELR, and import from text file>Import pasted text in the calculator I use, but Ill have to do that anyway or not have a label, if Ive mixed the batch. Plus you can have it track steep times.
Great little program with a handful of additional calculators inside it. Like raise flavor percent or lower , … here look
Looks pretty good Troy, thanks. Plenty of useful features there by the looks of it. I’ll have a play around with it tomorrow (almost 2am here now).
DONT forget to preheat your juice before hitting it with the GC. Very important!
It’s not a GC I’m waiting for. It’s one of these.
Installed it. Now I just need to find a way to exclude it from my windows theme if that’s even possible…
I’ve not had much experience with a Windows theme. I’m sure it would have to be a checkbox somewhere. Lol I’ll see if I can figure anything out.
That homogenizer looks pretty serious! Touch base with Ogre, and maybe he’s had some experience with Windows themes. His review of the game changer, for me, was a real game changer! Between Google and this forum, we should be able to get you set up lickety split!
Hell no!
I’m holding off with mixing anything until that homogenizer arrives so there’s no hurry.
I actually just remembered that I had another set of 500g/0.1g scales in the garage that I used to use to weigh my erm, purchased baggies of completely medicinal purpose (honest!) weed.
I just fished them out and sat a 50g calibration weight on them and they read exactly 50.0g.
Good times
