Heard Paul from Labworks confirmed what I was told, these asshole juice companies with the 20-30 something millionaire owners not putting a cent towards advocacy. He made a great point as well, these hardware makers should be footing the bill too, how you going to sell a new RDA without juice to vape it?
I had to go back and rewatch a lot of it, excellent episode @woftam
We did go a bit longer than usual and talked about a lot of stuff that wasn’t eggnog lol
There was eggnog?
I think the ratio was right.
That recip…errmmm episode was well balanced.
I mean seriously, how much can you say about a drink that only comes around once a year?

Thank you, thank you, thank you for mentioning the work and care that goes into the database over there! (at 1h28m)!!
Also, loving that you followed that up with the fact that percentage varies with power, and even particular flavors!!
If this doesn’t fucking GET IT THROUGH some of the thicker skulls out there… Nothing will.
Just shared a link to this on reddit, someone asking when to use CAP SS vs FW and TFA Sweeteners.
Do me a favor please?!
Mention the fact that TFA has CHANGED their formula for Sweetener… (and that BOTH entries in the database are valid)!!
The original (to the best of my knowledge) used:
Ethyl Maltol 4940-11-8
and sucralose.
Their current “Sweetener” uses:
Maltol 118-71-8
and sucralose.
Source: Perfumer's Apprentice
I’m pretty sure that the change happened this year (2019), but no idea when exactly.
/EDIT
Ok, now it would seem that I’m getting conflicting data… Tried to use the Wayback Machine to verify, but according to it, TFA has been using straight Maltol since 2017…
Not sure what to believe now. I know I’ve heard it repeated for years that it’s EM and sucralose… And I’m damned near certain I’ve personally verified that in more than one occasion in the last three years (during merges)… So might just skip it for now (until/if I can run across a screenshot confirmation). /sigh
2016 capture shows the same (Maltol)
you mean the super sweetener and the sweetener
Anyways, worth educating and “dispelling the myth” that they’re using Maltol (and that I’m aware of it/brought it up) and NOT ethyl maltol.
Just as a PSA (and to get correct information out there).
