Well it’s still really hard to make a choice among so many pod kits. So today I bring another one comparison between vaporesso aurora play and some other famous pod kits to let you know more.

Here is the three pod kit which are most popular and best sale in pod system market. And the reason why I want to compare them three together is their same unique appearance. It’s true that people always show their more interests on unique gears. And that also explains why there’re more and more unique pod kits appeared in the market. Now let’s get to this review!

Difference in Appearance

Like what I said above, unique appearance design always brighten people’s eyes. As for these three kits, the appearance design language among them are totally different at all.

Voopoo Rota kit is inspired by hand spinner which has been popular for so many years. But hand spinner pod system kits has already released in the market. Like Vision Spinner, Mulwin Q20 Spinner,etc. Voopoo Rota pod kit is not the first one hand spinner shape pod kit but it’s the most popular and best sale one. Why? Well I have to say more color options give customers more space to select what they love. You get 8 different colors with different texture Rota pod kits to choose from. That’s absolutely attractive to people.

Smoant karat pod kit has been released in 2018. Quite a long time! Compare to Rota and Aurora Play kit, honestly its appearance is not that representative. Difference in Pod Cartridge

Voopoo rota kit, just like what they advertise around, gets the ability of leakage proof. With careful and elaborate pod design, you can spin this kit when vaping without worrying the juice leaking problem. And after few days use, I found that’s true. Even though you fulfill this pod cartridge, the leakage is still hard to find. But it still gonna happen when you spin this Rota kit so fast and frequently. Don’t spin too much if you want relax, maybe it’s more tired!

Smoant karat pod cartridge is what I want to introduce in detail for its quartz coil inside. As we all know, ceramic coil in pod system kit is really popular because it can provide richer and purer flavor than regular coil. As for this quartz coil, which is not too much different from ceramic coil, no matter from the structure and the nature. What’s more, the service time of ceramic coil or quartz coil both longer than those regular coil we used to use. Especially for these undetachable pod structure.

Well as for vaporesso aurora play pod, we all know Ccell technology from vaporesso which widely used in these pod kits from vaporesso family. Porous quartz structure give it great ability to offer ultimate flavor. And strong throat hit feeling is also better to experience. Overall, I like Ccell coil in this vaporesso aurora play kit without any doubt. Give it a try if don’t agree with me, LOL!

Starss Icon Kit Review

Honestly this device, starss icon kit, is not a new arrival pod kit. And I got this sample on Oct 2018 which has stayed in my sample shelf for months. The reason why I want to write a review of this device is the cotton coil. Recently more and more pod system kits have been released on the market with almost all ceramic coil or mesh coil inside. Traditional cotton coil seems like to be abandoned gradually. So I decide to make a review for this gorgeous pod kit — Starss Icon Kit.

Appearance Design

Zinc alloy and PCTG material are most seen to be applied in pod system kit. The lightweight and durability are the reason why zinc alloy material gains manufacturers’ appreciation. PCTG material is the same. Well there’s one shortness of zinc alloy material brings is easily to be scratched by friction. Elaborately and carefully polished rounded corners is the best design for better grip feelings without any doubt. But in our daily life, some frictions are unavoidable like put it into pocket or put it on the table. These subtle friction and bumps both causes some irreversible scratches and trace. So you need to carefully treat this material pod kits, of course include starss icon kit.

On the other hand, there’s carbon fiber material applied onto this kit as well. Well not on the surface but on the back of the kit which covered by PCTG material. And you can clearly see it from the picture above.

There’re five color options for you to select. Each one is designed with different patterns and colors metal frame. For sure customers are glad to see more color options, especially for those people who always stuck in the middle of making choices.

This kit comes with two same pod cartridges. 2ml capacity with 1.7ohm resistance cotton coil for MTL vaping. MTL vaping is what vape lovers chasing for. The strong feeling that Nicotine salt juice bring which also provides throat hit experience. Traditional cotton coil maybe not provide the purer flavor, the unique experience it brings also attract people to use, even though more and more people start to vape with ceramic coil.

The Verdict

It’s true that the starss icon kit is not that outstanding on pod system kit market like Smok nord kit or vaporesso aurora play kit. For its appearance design is the most possible reason for people to get to know it or purchase. In today’s pod system kit market, although there’re so many various pod kits, no matter from the appearance or product design, for people to make choices. And there are still more and more pod kits released day by day. Honestly customers need new devices, better design devices or one which worth purchasing. it’s been few months since starss icon kit was launched, and it’s already in stock in so many vape stores. It seems like that Smok speeds up in releasing new products recently. Today we’re here to check the new smok pod system kit Smok Trinity Alpha Kit. Before we start, May I ask that does anyone here have purchased Lost Vape Orion Q or DNA pod kit yet? I’m sure about that you guys know a little about Lost Vape Orion series. Well you may find some reflections of Orion kit on this Trinity Alpha.

The Battery Design

Just like what I said above, you will find some reflections of Lost Vape Orion series on this Trinity Alpha kit. Maybe some of yous guys wonder like this ‘what the hell is going on with this kit’ when you see this picture. LOL.

The whole battery is made of zinc alloy material with carefully polished surface process. So you can find this kit is so glittering and shiny under the light. Rainbow color is still the traditional color selection in pod kits. On the both side of the battery is a way like resin pattern design which offers smooth touching feel. But I’m little afraid that It’s easy to leave the fingerprints on the surface and middle metal frame. The truth is that what I concern about is right. On the other hand, Colorful and shiny appearance is gorgeous and adorable obviously. Well keep this in mind that don’t leave scratches on this kit.

Big fire button gives more conveniences in cooperation. Compare to Lost Vape Orion, there’s a power mode function in this trinity alpha kit with an individual press button to adjust. Hard / Normal/ Soft mode you can choose to use. And correspond wattage is 10w-25w.

Meanwhile, there’s a safety protection on the pod position — The pod cartridge lock button. Different from the magnetic connection design on most pod kit, But it’s the same to Lost Vape Orion series. Special lock button ensures safer vaping if you have a baby who always play around you when you’re vaping. Personally I’d like to name it Baby proof lock.

The Pod Design

The pod cartridge also comes with some special design by the way. Pull-then-refill port makes refilling become easier. Compare to the screw port design on Lost vape Orion, Obviously the pull and refill switch on trinity alpha is simpler and more efficient. And you can also see the air hole on the pod which beside the refill port.

The coil design still inherits from smok nord, that means the trinity alpha pod is compatible with the coils of smok nord. Nord mesh 0.6ohm coil and nord mesh MTL 0.8ohm coil included in the package for various vaping experience and needs.

Compare with Lost Vape Orion?

Honestly speaking, Breakthrough and innovation are what we want to see on the vaping market. Of course, we need some mature technology in vaping kits instead of semi finished products. As for the Lost Vape Orion, Most vape lovers all glad to see this unique design pod kit. For now, Smok tries to learn and reproduce this kind pod kit. Meanwhile, they also make their own adjustments and changes to make this unique pod kit become more easy-to-use. People may not understand why Smok is going to take the road of reproduce cause they completely have the ability to create and innovate. I don’t know either. But as for us, vape lovers and users, Where ther’s a change, we should applaud and support.

The Verdict

Leave the same appearance design aside, Smok trinity alpha kit is a brilliant pod kit without any doubt. Special and representative coil design ensures the great performance on this kit. By the way, don’t forget the built-in 1000mAh battery. Cause you can spend more than one day vaping time. Honestly I hope the humanized pull-then-fill design will be adopted on more and more pod kits. Trust me, you won’t like to try the silicone plug port any longer after you use Smok trinity alpha kit.
